
HR Generalist

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to support the human resources functions of our hospitality management operations for our Northwest Arkansas Teams. This role plays a critical part in fostering an employee-centric culture across multiple hotel properties in Northwest Arkansas by executing key HR initiatives including recruitment, onboarding, compliance, employee relations, and performance management.
The ideal candidate has experience in hospitality or a fast-paced, service-oriented industry, and brings a collaborative, people-first approach to building engaged and compliant workplaces.

Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding
• Support hiring managers in full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, screening, interviews, and offer processes
• Facilitate smooth onboarding experiences for new hires across multiple locations
• Coordinate new hire paperwork and orientation processes in accordance with company policy and hospitality brand standards
Employee Relations & Engagement
• Serve as a point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and conflict resolution
• Promote a positive, inclusive work culture through employee recognition and wellness programs
• Support employee investigations and disciplinary actions under the guidance of the HR leadership team
Compliance & Recordkeeping
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, EEO, and wage and hour regulations
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files and HRIS records
• Assist in audits, I-9 verification, and employee documentation tracking
Data & Reporting
• Assist in the preparation of KPI reports including Recruitment, Retention, Turnover, Tenure, etc.
Performance Management, Recognition, & Engagement
• Coordinate the deployment of the HA Performance Management process.
• Assist with collecting employee feedback via Engagement Surveys that assists with improving the employee life cycle.
• Assist with the execution of employee recognition programs.
Training & Development
• Coordinate employee training programs including mandatory compliance modules and hospitality brand standards
• Track training completion and assist with performance review administration
• Identify and recommend internal development opportunities to improve retention and performance
Payroll & Benefits Support
• Liaise with payroll and benefits vendors as needed to support employee inquiries
• Assist with open enrollment processes and employee benefits education
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Organizational Leadership, Human Resources, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in the hospitality, service, or retail industry
• Working knowledge of HR practices and labor laws
• Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Paycom, Workday, UKG, or similar) a plus
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Employee Development and Engagement skills preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
